My take on the current pandemic situation in Msia Based on the Covid 19 data reported daily from Jul 18 to Aug 28, 2021, we can deduce that the daily rate of Covid 19 patients falling under Cat #3, Cat #4 & Cat #5 combined as a percent of the total number of daily cases reported averaged around 2%, in spite of the fact that the % of population fully inoculated went up steadily from 29.3% on Jul 18 to 44.4% on Aug 28. At an average daily rate of 2%, it means the daily admissions to the hospital for Cat #3 Cat #4 & Cat # 5 patients combined will rise in tandem with the rise in the daily number of cases reported. This was evidenced by daily admissions of about 90+ to 144 cases at the beginning of this study period when the daily number of cases reported was about 10000 + & about 340 cases when the daily number of cases reported was about 20000 + towards the end of this study period.
